Monarch Edventures Program
The goal of this multi-faceted program is for students to learn about the monarch butterfly species, the challenges this endangered population faces, and the conservation efforts necessary to promote preservation of the monarch butterfly population.
The program will consist of primarily outdoor education lessons, investigations, strategizing plans, and implementing action to support the monarch butterfly species in the schoolyard and local community.
Students will be exposed to the current global monarch butterfly issues and become citizen scientists, demonstrating stewardship in their local community. Students will develop skills associated with problem solving and formulating strategies to implement solutions toward the goal at hand.
