Join us at Spruce Knob Mountain Center to fly kites – bring a kite, make a kite, buy a kite, or just watch – and celebrate the sky and the wind that is a constant presence on our high plains! The New Era Kite Club will be on site flying their fun enormous kites, doing trick kite demos, and conducting kite-building workshops. GRUSK is an adventure-cycling race on and around the highest peak in the mountain state, Spruce Knob! This race will take riders through some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in the East. The road conditions on course will vary from buttery pavement, to smooth dirt, to chunky gravel, to poorly maintained, pot-hole infested back roads.
