Trail System Hours:

The trail system is open 7 days a week. Our convenient on-site self-check in process means you can come out anytime during daylight hours.

Retail Market & Cafe:

Grab and go food items, value-added concessions, and a limited amount of take-away meal options will be available in this space. It is a new undertaking for us, and we are thrilled to have more specifics to share with you soon.

Trail Use:

Trail access is FREE – we want you to use them! Please consider making a donation either online or in person during your trip. Your donation will go directly towards the expansion, creation, and maintenance of the trail system.

Bike Rentals:

We have a limited amount of hardtail adult mountain bikes available for rent in our on-site shop (sizes XS, S, M, L). If you are interested in a rental, please give us a call at 304-606-3233, or email MBrooks@experience-learning.org to check on availability. Single-day bike rentals are $50/day, 20% discount on multi-day rentals.

Group & Team Rentals

Want to bring a group or team out for a weekend retreat, camp, or intensive day of training and don’t know where to start?

Group meal options and on-site group campsites are available!

On-site Camping

We have a large field available for primitive camping that is currently available on a donation basis. Bathrooms and potable water are located at the community center and are a short walk away.

The lower forested camping area is currently under construction. This area will have a handful of drive-in sites for car camping, van camping, or tent camping. We do not have RV hookups at this time. These sites have a picnic table and fire ring (local fire restrictions still apply) and provide direct access to a headwater stream and the forest. Bathrooms and showers are a short walk away at the community center. More information coming soon.

Walk-in primitive camping is available upon request, we have several primitive camping sites on the property accessible via the trail system.

Glamping Cabins

Don’t want to haul a tent and all that extra baggage along with you? We have two small glamping cabins available for rent beginning August 2024.

Cabin 1 sleeps two people and is furnished simply with a double bed (linens provided) and sofa.

Cabin 2 is furnished with two sets of bunk beds sleeping up to 4 people. Cabin 2 also comes with a rustic indoor kitchen prep area, indoor storage space, shared outdoor picnic table, and fire pit.

Due to the close proximity of cabin 1 and cabin 2, and the shared outdoor space (including picnic table and campfire ring), we strongly encourage you to rent both cabins together as a package.

Both cabins are powered by an off-grid solar array and will have a limited amount of electric amperage. You will be able to charge your phone and run the cabin lights and fan, but you will not have access to appliances like a refrigerator or television. Please plan accordingly.

Cabins are a short walk away from the community center where there are guest bathrooms, showers and potable water.
