Dirt Rock n Roots MTB Boot Camp

MTB 101 – Saturday Only
A three-hour clinic specifically geared towards beginner riders. Coach Jess Harmening will help you build foundational skills, grow confidence on the trails, and have fun while doing it.
International Intergalactic Global Open Mountain Bike Team Relay Championship of the PARALLEL UNIVERSE – Saturday
WHAT: This is a 1-4 person team relay on a short loop (~2.5 mile) loop where riders on a team exchange each and every lap until 4 hours is up. This race is about accumulated laps. Here is the twist, teams start the race with a handicap based on individuals’ normal race category. If you are a beginner racer, you’ll start with 2 laps. If you are a sport racer, you’ll start with 1 lap. If you are an expert racer, you won’t start with any laps. Race hard, score laps, and see where your team places. First across the line with the most laps wins. This race is for fun, sportsmanship, and a hard effort. Fake mustaches encouraged.
SUNDAY SUPER D:
Super D racing is one of Zach’s favorite formats….you need skills AND fitness. Every little speed bump thrown in…that’s the super in the D. This race will be ITT style, so no mass starts to worry about. Show and go style start from 10-11am. Results later in the day. There are 3 categories: Mens, Womens, and Juniors. As it always should be, this race is just for fun….nobody is coming to spirit you off to the world cup afterwards. Have fun, race hard, and be a good sports-person.
Intro to Fly Fishing Clinic – Saturday & Sunday – Great option for all ages including families
Join Becca Myers for a fun introduction to fly-fishing. We’ll break down the basics then we’ll put our newly learned skills to the test! Changes, Errors, and Expectations
Hopefully we’ll see you during the weekend to have some fun, hang out, and ride some bikes. That’s the goal. Specific details may change, we might be wrong about some things….hey, people make mistakes. But if you’re coming for a good time, we’ll be able to figure anything out! We do expect to make changes to the schedule of events as we get closer to the weekend, so stay tuned, and check the schedule posted at the event (Located at the Community Center). The best way to stay up to date ahead of time, is to register and get pre-event emails that way.
PACK IT IN. PACK IT OUT. Please follow this guidance and take home everything that you brought along with you. We are not set up to dispose of a truck load of individual garbage bags.
