Free and open to the public, no registration needed. Come join us on our Spruce Knob campus for our fourth annual Spruce Knob Kite Festival from 12 – 8:30 pm! Beer garden will open at 2 pm.

During the day you will be able to fly some kites, support West Virginia based food trucks, learn from scientists, and enjoy other vendor offerings! Then move down to our iconic yurts for an evening full of more food trucks, live music, and a community campfire.

Primitive camping will be available on site for $10 and payment will be accepted at the welcome tent. If you’re looking for a place to stay or non-camping accommodations, nearby Yokums Vacationland and NROCKS have some great cabin options.

All proceeds from this event will support our mission to deliver high-quality outdoor programming as a tool to develop competence, confidence, and community for all people of all ages. We believe that EVERYONE should have access to high-quality outdoor opportunities, your financial donation will directly support sending kids to camp or on field trips.
