Planning a trip to the backcountry where a 911 call cannot get through, or where rescue may be hours away? Worried about hurricanes, earthquakes, or floods in your community? Coach your child’s sports team or lead their boy or girl scouts troop? Developing an interest in climbing, mountain biking, or caving?
WFA is the perfect course for the outdoor enthusiast or trip leader who wants a basic level of first aid training for short trips with family, friends, and outdoor groups. You will learn the basic skills of: Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies, Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Medical Emergencies.
Course Options and Costs
WFA: $230.00 (Includes course, tent space, access to bath house)
Meal Plan: $75 for dinner Friday – dinner Sunday
Lodging: Beds in the dorm: $10.00 additional per night
If you are taking WFA as WFR review, SOLO requires a $15 payment on completion of the WFA course
