Fall V.A.R. Gathering of the National Speleological Society

Come spend a weekend at the Spruce Knob Mountain Center, exploring multiple caves in the four county region with other spelunkers. Maps and descriptions will appear in our guidebook. Details remain to be worked out but possibilities include such familiar caves as Sinks of Gandy, Stillhouse, Nelson, Kee, Flowerpot, Sharp, and Crossroads, among others. We need guided trips to appropriate caves and appeal to cavers willing to lead trips to favorite caves they know well. Overlap with past VARs is inevitable but we expect that several will be new to many VAR cavers. A geriatric trip has been suggested. Specifics will appear on the website soon.
