WV Trilogy and Run for the Hills

October 10 – 12, 2025

Join us for a weekend of running races hosted by The West Virginia Mountain Trail Runners and Experience Learning.

The WV Trilogy is a three day race consisting of three different courses and lengths: a 50K, 50 Mile, and half marathon.

The Monongahela National Forest is a treasure where the mountains wrap themselves around you. It is a place of solitude, choice, and challenge — a place where nature prevails and where we must adapt. Race headquarters is located at the Spruce Knob Mountain Center’s 400 acre outdoor education facility lying in the shadow of Spruce Knob. The landscape embodies wildness and reminds you of yesterday’s people. The West Virginia Mountain Trail Runners and the Spruce Knob Mountain Center welcome you to the Trilogy. Come for these special autumn runs on Spruce Mountain and take home memories you will enjoy for a lifetime.

The half marathon and 5K races directly support the Experience Learning organization and programs.
