Mountain Trekkers (all girls)
Mountain Trekkers ages 11-14
This program will introduce our all female Mountain Trekkers to backpacking, beginning rock climbing, and caving, with the opportunity to spend the night in the cave experiencing total darkness! We’ll backpack out to the high falls of Seneca Creek where we will set up a basecamp. From this location, we’ll spend ample time honing our craft and trying new things, from survival skills to nature art with opportunities to swim and relax along the way. The final day of the program we will travel to a nearby rock outcropping where we will meet a climbing guide for an introduction to top rope climbing and rappelling.
