Leaf Peepers Expedition
Take your backpacking skills to the next level on this 6-day, 5-night tour of the Dolly Sods Wilderness!
Similar to our Tour de Spruce program, this camp will dig deeper into skills, gear, and navigation. You’ll emerge with the knowledge and confidence to plan and execute your own adventure.
For this September adventure we will meet in Canaan Valley and head straight into the Dolly Sods and Roaring Plains Wilderness (permit pending). This course will involve a 6 day and 5 night backpacking adventure in which you will get to test different kinds of stoves, water filters, and other gear in the field. Through the week you will work towards independence in route-planning and navigating. Further your camp craft and backcountry cooking skills, gain fitness, and explore deeply within the Roaring Plains/Dolly Sods Wilderness.
